Professor WANG GUNGWU, current occupant of the John A. Burns Chair of History at the University of Hawaii, will address the CHINA SEMINAR at the February meeting.

Wang Gungwu is Professor of Far Eastern History and Director of the Research School of Pacific Studies at the Australian National University and enjoys international renown in studies concerning China and Southeast Asia.
