“An Agricultural Tour of China” will be the subject of a talk by Thomas Lumpkin, research agronomist at the University of Hawaii. Mr. Lumpkin spent August 1979 - December 1980 in China, mostly at Hangzhou, doing research into the azolla (man-jiang-hong). His own work into thia plant gained him the attention of the Chinese and therefore the invitation.
