The China Saga: Expectations & Frustrations, Myth & Reality
China has undergone, and is undergoing, dramatic changes. What are the implications underlying these profound changes? How have the changes come about? How will they impact the country’s socio-economic framework? How far has China gone toward building a “socialist market economy?” What is the relationship between reform, development and stability? And why is it so important to maintain stability? These are major issues that Mr. Zhou will deal with.
