Please join us for a talk on the role that public diplomacy plays in shaping immediate and long-term relations between the United States and China. The speaker Larry Daks, a native of Chicago, studied, political science and economics at the University of Illinois and law at Northwestern University (B.S. in law and J.D.). He has served many years in Asia as a foreign service officer, with his most recent post in Asia as deputy director of the United States Information Service in China.
