A Chinese Journalist’s Life In North Korea: What Are The Realities?
North Korea is a mystery to many of us. DU Baiyu, who was a resident living in the most secretive country in the world for over two years between 2012 and 2014, will tell us her own stories and experiences in North Korea and show her rarely seen first-hand pictures. Her talk will focus on ordinary people’s livelihood and mentality, which she learned from her interactions with both local North Koreans and expatriates working for international organizations and foreign embassies.
