Between Two Worlds of Words

“Between Two Worlds of Words” will be the title of a talk by Mr. Hobert E. Duncan, Special Assistant on Communication to the Governor of the State of Hawaii. A noted journalistic career preceded Mr. Duncan’s appointment by the Governor in 1976, and an involvement with China has always been a part of his outlook and work. At present, Mr. Duncan lectures as a guest to students from China in the Journalism Department of the University of Hawaii, and he has been a consultant to the English-language China Daily (Beijing) as well as a Visiting Professor of Journalism at Fudan University, Shanghai.

Hobert Duncan, the governor’s press secretary, who is at the present time, traveling in China with his family, on his second trip, will speak. He will have returned only the day before.
