Traveler's Tales: A review of memories and memorabilia collected during thirty years of study, travel and work in Asia
Please join us for our year-end meeting to hear Frank Gniffke’s Asia tales. Frank was first introduced to Asia while pursuing an M. A. degree in Political Science at the University of Hawaii (1966) on an East-West Center grant. His field study took him to Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Japan in 1964 and 1965. After receiving a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1969, Frank returned to Asia to work for almost three years as an associate in an international law firm in Japan.
