An Overview of the National Minorities of China
Prof. Li Jinchun is Director of the Department of Ethnology and Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Nationality Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, in the People’s Republic of China. Since the early 1950s he has conducted numerous research projects among the Naxi minority group in the area between Yunnan and Sichuan. Prof. Li is currently with the Institute of Culture and Communication, East-West Center. He will lecture in Chinese; interpretation will be provided.
