Victor H. Li, Shelton Professor of International Legal Studies at Stanford, will speak on “Law and Trial in China.” A legal scholar of international renown, Professor Li is also active in contemporary Chinese studies. A member of the Joint Committee on Contemporary China of the Social Science Research Council, Dr. Li has been to China many times. Victor H. Li is President-designate of the East-West Center.
