Between Two Worlds of Words
“Between Two Worlds of Words” will be the title of a talk by Mr. Hobert E. Duncan, Special Assistant on Communication to the Governor of the State of Hawaii. A noted journalistic career preceded Mr. Duncan’s appointment by the Governor in 1976, and an involvement with China has always been a part of his outlook and work. At present, Mr. Duncan lectures as a guest to students from China in the Journalism Department of the University of Hawaii, and he has been a consultant to the English-language China Daily (Beijing) as well as a Visiting Professor of Journalism at Fudan University, Shanghai. He knows the terrain between “two worlds of words.”
